Who Should Attend?
Non-specialists in health and safety who hold a role in Fire Safety responsibility. The syllabus is based on National Occupational Standards in Fire Safety at Level 3, which has common units with the Emergency Fire Services National Occupational Standards. Therefore, the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificates may also be of benefit to fire services personnel developing their underpinning knowledge as part of the Integrated Personal Development System
Course Objectives
On successful completion of the course candidates will be able to conduct and review fire risk assessments and advise on the fire preventive and protective measures within most workplaces.

Fire Risk Assessment
This course is for delegates who have successfully completed the NEBOSH National General certificate in the last 5 years or who also intend to take Unit 1 of the NEBOSH National General Certificate (NGC1).
Assessment
Two written examinations – one on each of the two taught units and a practical assessment with a written report.
