The CCNSG is nationally recognised, which has been design to ensure individuals and workers have the basic essential knowledge to work on construction sites safely and legally. It also ensures a good level of knowledge to help contractors improve on site safety and health and safety awareness.
The CCNSG is valid for 3 years. To keep the qualification in date you will be required to take the 1 day CCNSG renewal before the 3 years expire.

Please note, when joining this course you will be required to take photo ID and proof of their National Insurance numbers. On the first day you will be required to take the above and 2 passport photos. You will not be allowed to join the course unless you have all the above.

Anyone that is employed within maintenance / installation in the construction industry. The CCNSG is becoming a standard qualification most companies expect individuals to have before they allow individuals access on to their premises or site.
Course Objectives
At the end of the Training, candidates will be aware and able to: –
Implement all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affects them during their daily work. Allowing the delegate to work safely and lowering the risk to themselves and other employee’s.

At the end of the CCNSG course, you will need to pass a multiple choice examination, the current pass rate is 80%. This then qualifies them for the CCNSG Passport Card.
Delegates must attend all of the days, in accordance with the CCNSG course programme, to achieve the necessary learning objectives to qualify for the qualification.
